Stuart Boardman looking towards Crib Goch On Snowdon

SHARING MY EXPERIENCES OF SPENDING TIME HIKING AND CAMPING IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS!

I’m Stuart and I’m a commercial UAV operator and also do some freelance web work to earn my keep. I love spending time outdoors, hiking and camping. Whether it be local riverside walks or setting myself mountain and peak challenges, I love getting outside.

I have a real passion for photography, in all its forms and styles. I love learning about photography and experimenting whenever I can. I’m a family man, with two daughters and my wife, whom I love spending time with. They are often reluctant models for my photography though!

From this website I want to share my photos and blog posts about where I’ve been outdoors, what I’ve photographed and my opinions on the kit I use. I welcome any constructive criticism and comments on my work and please do feel free to share your thoughts.

I’ve been trying to reduce my pack size and weight now for some time and for summer camps I think I’ve finally cracked it. I’ll be heading out to the Peak District to try the new pack load out. Read on to see what I’ve packed.

That was on top of my camping and camera equipment so it made the total load a lot. So I’ve been looking at shaving some weight off my load and one way to to re-consider my hydration system.

Everest Base Camp by my 50th!

I’ve set myself some goals, to be achieved before my 50th birthday. One was to stop smoking, which I’ve achieved. Another was to complete an Everest Base Camp trek. It will be the hardest trek I’ll have ever completed but I would love to complete it!
