Everest Base Camp by my 50th!

My Favourite Camp Dish – Pan of Red
I like to have at least one decent hot meal a day when I’m out camping. I’ve used ration packs, gone to the local pub or cafe but my favourite is eating a Pan of Red under the stars, sat at the campfire. Can’t get any better!!Read Post

Trying out the new gimbal on my camera phone
I’ve been using my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to record video when I’m hiking. I don’t have a steady hand and the footage suffered as a result. So I’ve bought a Zhiyun Smooth Q gimbal stabiliser. Read on to see some test footage with the gimbal.Read Post
Next Peak District trip planned, something different!
On the 20th or 21st of October I’ll be leaving Doncaster for the Peak District, for a 1 night camp near Bamford. I’ll be taking the camera equipment and hopefully getting some great sunset and sunrise shots while I’m there.Read Post
New bit of kit on the way, smoother videos
When I’ve been out walking I’ve taken some video snippets with my smartphone but the quality has been severely lacking, the video was wobbly at best and didn’t do justice at all to the scenes I was trying to capture. So I’ve ordered a new piece of kit to help with that, the Zhiyun Smooth-Q 3-Axis gimbal.Read Post
